About

Kim Gritzer is an award-winning creative executive and immersive experience consultant. For over 15 years, she’s helped theme parks like Universal, Singapore’s Genting SkyWorlds, and other destination brands create standout attractions that stay on schedule, on budget, and true to their creative vision.

As founder of The Unbridled Vision, Kim partners with amusement park developers, operators, and design teams from initial concept through design development. Her leadership has shaped the creative direction of some of Universal’s most beloved Harry Potter attractions, including Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, and she contributed as a designer on Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge at Super Nintendo World.

Kim is also the founding CEO of The Unbridled Vision Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides pro bono creative services for community spaces, public environments, and educational and cultural projects—bringing joy and inspiration to underserved communities throughout Florida.

Born and raised near Cleveland, Kim grew up immersed in competitive roller skating and horseback riding. Those early experiences with choreographed movement, rhythm, and the physics of motion—combined with a passion for visual art—naturally evolved into a career in theme park attraction design.

A graduate of Kent State University, Kim earned her MFA in Set Design from the University of Texas at Austin before moving to Los Angeles. There she honed her skills in concept and graphic design, scenic painting, sculpting, prop creation, and architectural modeling. That foundation led to a role as a production designer at Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, where she developed attraction concepts and landscapes for properties such as Ice Age and Sons of Anarchy.

Her success at Genting drew the attention of Universal Creative, bringing her back to the U.S. to work on Universal Orlando projects. Known for pushing the boundaries of innovation, she advanced from designer to art director to creative director in 10 years.

Kim’s work on Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™ earned her a place on the 2020 Blooloop 50 list, recognizing leaders who are shaping the future of the attractions industry.
